An idea

Walked into work this morning to a GORGEOUS flower arrangement in our floor entrance (we always have a little something but this was AMAZING), and then into a few patients' rooms to see other smaller, gorgeous, arrangements. Came to find out that someone in the area had a wedding the night before and when it was over asked for the flower arrangements to be dropped off to the hospital and distributed as seen fit.

What angels! You will never know what that flower arrangement meant to my little elderly patient. She told me all about it three times. She had no other flowers.

What a wonderful idea! If you know of anyone with weddings coming up, please suggest this. I've been to so many where they get pawned off to family members or whomever. Those flowers will wilt within the week anyway, why not send them to someone who will delight in them every second of that week?
