Love.

Last night Mike and I went on our first date since our little bug was born.  4 months people!  I've left Aedan with babysitters (my illustrious sis-in-law Shelly this time) but this was the first time we've gotten to go out TOGETHER.

So nice.


Went to the new (well, a year new) Liberty Market 

in downtown Gilbert.  It's owned by the same guy that's does Joe's BBQ and Joe's Farmhouse (which, if you haven't been to and you live in AZ- shame on you!).  It was as adorable as his other restaurants, the people we're SO NICE, but the food... a little disappointing.  It was, as Mike stated, pretentious without the payout.  Don't call your pizza a margherita pizza if it's a plain cheese pizza (not even with the classic tomatoes a margherita's supposed to have), and a ho-hum pizza at that.  And don't charge me 8 bucks for it.  Mike's burger was pretty good, and some of their other sandwiches/salads sounded really good, so I might go back and give it another chance.  It's getting pretty good reviews so maybe we just got the wrong thing.

But then... we got on to the highlight of the evening.  Mike joined a bowling team!  That's right, for those of you that didn't know, Mike's a voracious bowler.  Absolutely loves it, and he's good to!  I had so much fun watching him rock it.

Top it off with some gelato and the baby being asleep when we got home, and it was an exceptional date. I love this guy.
